Recollectr uses two types of elements in the editor:
- Structural Blocks
- Stylistic Marks
Why is this important?
Structural blocks take up entire lines in the editor. Stylistic marks do not affect the formatting of the page.
Most structural elements cannot contain other structural elements, although there are exceptions such as blockquotes which can contain any other element. Images are also treated as structural elements in Recollectr.
Stylistic marks, on the other hand, can be applied to any element in Recollectr except for Codeblocks.
See the tabs below for examples of Structural blocks versus Stylistic marks.
