There are three ways to create new notes in Recollectr.

Omnibox method

Enter some text into the Omnibox and press Enter.  This is the primary method of creating notes in Recollectr. A new note will be created with the title of the text you entered. Your cursor will focus on the editor so you can begin to type immediately.

Note: If the text you enter is an exact match for the title of an existing note, the existing note will be selected instead.

Hotkey method

From anywhere in Recollectr, press Ctrl + N to create a new, untitled note. and immediately focus the editor.

Link dialog method (Premium)

In addition to Note-linking from the link edit dialog, you can create notes directly by using a Link URL that begins with ‘++’ followed by the desired title text.
